this week was mostly focus and work. head down.

i went back to my iot work. a jetson nano, a small computer board for building ai devices, sitting unused since last year.

nobody asked me to pick it up.

then pao and i went to a protest at night.

i expected one crowd, one slogan.

boards everywhere. resign this, ban that.

the education minister had resigned that day, so some people were celebrating and some stood completely silent. food was going around. pao got an ice cream.

further down, strangers were putting themselves between the police and each other.

nobody marched them there.

i watched human rights stop being a word from a syllabus and become a street.

later i sat in on isdm batch 10, the new student cohort, in a hot conversation. everyone with a different take.

i kept thinking, oh, interesting.

same shape. different room.

i design learning for other people. i keep trying to hand them a reason.

my job is not to give people the reason.
it is to make room for theirs.

one idea i read this week

james clear:

“also remember to ask, what am i really trying to accomplish here?”

release the “i have to do this” story and a different, equally good life is waiting.

one question for you

what did you do this week that nobody asked you to do?

be kind, help people, trust muruga.
