This week everyone around me was building something.
Three in the morning, people were hunting for PLC members. Peter got placed at DA. He is 404, he is also just a good person to have around. We threw him a duck party.
And I sat with one question: what do I actually have?
Nine months of learning how an SPO actually functions. What a Theory of Change looks like when it is being built under pressure. How proposals get written. How communities hold together when there is no budget.
I have been treating this like a degree. It is also something else. Newsletter infrastructure, proposal writing, facilitation, community design these gaps exist at every mid-size NGO. The hard part is not the tool. It is finding someone who already speaks the sector.
That might be me.
The feedback this week stung a little. Still sitting with it. But even that told me something. I know enough now to be told I am wrong. That is farther than I was a year ago.
Still figuring out what the offer looks like. But the direction is clear.
