This week at ISDM began with Dr. Akhtar Badshah’s Purpose Mindset workshop β€” a reminder that my Purpose Driver (Responsive) is about removing obstacles and creating space for others to grow. I revisited my strengths β€” Visionary, Connector, Strategist β€” and reaffirmed my core values of Giving, Gratitude, and Spirituality.

Dr. Badshah’s feedback nudged me to share how I live my purpose every day. This tied perfectly into our PLC 4 – Vikāsa Taranga (Wave of Growth) sessions, where we co-created a purpose statement:

❝

We envision bold possibilities to create meaningful change by empowering people, driving innovation, and inspiring growth.

Vikāsa Taranga

With our strengths anchored in vision, connection, and strategy β€” and values rooted in compassion, gratitude, and spirituality β€” we set team norms: start every meeting with a check-in, raise hands to speak, stay open to reflection, and use Karma Points to make gratitude a shared practice.

Reflections

It’s been a full week β€” classes, projects, and a lot of learning. In the middle of it all, I kept thinking about home, about my mom holding things together while caring for grandpa. It keeps me grounded and grateful.

❝

I wake up each day to spark ideas, bring people together, and help them grow.

Nami

This week reminded me that purpose works best when it’s shared.
