This week, I was sick.
Not the dramatic kind. The kind where your body says stop, and you do not listen at first.
So I rested. Then I restarted. Then I rested again.
My 18-day series kept going. Some posts went out late. One post, I skipped.
Here is the honest part.
I spent more than 20 hours reading this week. More than I wrote. More than I talked to anyone. When my body could not do much, my mind kept going.
And that was the problem.
I have been thinking about three parts of me. Head, heart and hands.
My head took over this week. It planned, checked and rewrote. It wanted every question perfect before it let go.
When I noticed it, I brought myself back to my heart. Why am I doing this at all? Not for the numbers.
My hands found their own way. They doodled on my iPad. No plan. No goal. Just lines. It was the quietest part of my week.
What I am practising now is resilience. Not the big word. The small, fast version.
Something happens. I feel it. I come back to myself. Quickly. Not in a day. In a few minutes, if I can.
I am not there yet. This week showed me how far I still have to go.
But I think this is the real preparation. Not more reading. Not more planning. Preparing myself to the core.
So this week, one question for you.
When your head takes over, what brings you back?
Be kind, help people, trust Muruga.
