Nami, Term 1 Finale: Colors, Chocolate & Memories

Hey Everyone,

Can you believe Monday marks the end of Term 1? It’s been an explosion of colors, learning, laughter, and late-night brainstorming.

Here’s our week in a nutshell, plus a small request to keep these memories alive.

We began with vibrant smiles and swirling scarves. An impromptu Color Dance brightened everyone’s Monday blues and reminded us how movement and music spark community.

A fresh workshop introduced new tools for creative leadership, and afterwards Room 404 morphed into a makeshift kitchen where we whipped up egg fry together, passing spatulas and stories.

By nightfall, spontaneous party vibes took over and laughter filled the halls.

Armed with notebooks and curiosity, we ventured out for a field visit with new people, new perspectives and fresh stories.

Back on campus, the day ended with laughter during evening games, striking the perfect balance between fieldwork and fun.

We also turned inward with our PMDL workshop, practicing emotional awareness, attention focus exercises and gratitude circles.

These sessions grounded us in why we chose development leadership.

The finale wrapped up with chocolate rewards, sweet treats and “thank you” certificates for everyone.

Tasting chocolate while reflecting on growth made the learning extra delicious.

We slowed down on Saturday, sharing meals that felt more than fuel. Every bite, from simple dal to spicy chutney, became a conversation starter about culture, memory and connection.

Finally, the big push: DAD assignments submitted. High fives and sighs of relief filled our chat threads as we hit “submit,” checking off another milestone together.

We’ve already gathered favorite moments Color Dance chaos, workshop smiles, field trip snapshots, chocolate celebrations, and more. The Gallery Walk is ready and waiting to bloom on Monday. Can’t wait to share it with you all and honor our Term 1 journey together.

Thank you, Cohort’ 9, for every shared laugh, hand extended and idea sparked. I’m endlessly grateful for this wild, wonderful ride with you all.
